According to Shahrekord University's Public Relations department, following the efforts made by the university chancellor and the Scientific and International Cooperation Center of Shahrekord University, SKU is now listed as an approved university by the Ministry of Science in Iraq. This development opens up new opportunities for the university to attract students from Iraq who are looking for a high-quality education outside their home country. The admission of students from different nationalities is a significant aspect of universities worldwide and highlights the academic, educational, and research potential of the destination institution. In line with this, Shahrekord University is currently negotiating to recruit non-Iranian students from other regions such as African countries, Russia, and Afghanistan. With more than 6,000 students and over 360 faculty members, Shahrekord University is a comprehensive and leading higher education institution in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province.
